Polar Flow App Reviews

I got my m400 as a Christmas gift from my husband and have used it religiously since. I researched running and activity tracking watching for a few month before hand and decided I would save for this one. Instead I ended up getting it as a gift and was thrilled. I thought I had made the right decision in my research, but now Im not so sure. The watch and iPhone app used to work seamlessly and I really enjoyed the ease of use within the app. Since Polars update, I cannot sync. It takes several unsuccessful attempts to finally connect to my iPhone. Once connected, it takes what feels like eons to successfully sync all the information from my watch. I mean FOREVER compared to how quickly it used to sync. Im not a fan of the interface change that came with the update either. Some features that I liked have disappeared-like someone else mentioned, the weight tracker. I could get used to it though if I wasnt so frustrated with the inability to sync. Since the initial update and change I saw that Polar released another update. Under the update it said it was to "fix bugs." Clearly, they have not figured out after all of the reviews that this bug should be a priority to fix! Its a bummer when you spend a good chunk of money on a product and it doesnt do what its supposed. I know I didnt spend the money, but someone I care about wasted their money on a gift for me. I hope Polar gets their act together before all of us switch to a Garmin or something.

This app is horrible and never syncs with my polar. I think Ill be returning it just for that reason. The watch is nice. I preferred its look over the fit bit but since I cant use an app to track my stats or look anything up its useless! Horrible! Not worth downloading. Get it together people!

Why? Why did you redesign the app, was so much better before. I loved Polar UX, convinced all my friends to use instead of Garmin. But now this version is just awful. What happened, dont understand why youd take a step back? Garmin is now on par. For the record I own 2x V800, 450, 650. So disappointed.

Ive had the Polar M400 for a year now and it worked great until Polar developed a new app. Now, the thing rarely synchs properly, if at all. The new layout is awful. It was a 5 star until this refresh. Id recommend not getting a Polar product unless this gets fixed.

I use this app with Polar A360 for only 7days, and this app misses 6 days data of my A360. I can not understand how could this app be so yuck!!!!

The new version of the app refuses to sync.

I love this app!!! Anyone trying to get in shape or serious about fitness should get this app and use it daily!! All the tools you get on this app is awesome!! Thank you Polar!!

If I could not give a star I would! Ever since the "update" my A300 wont sync with the app! When is this going to get fixed!?!?

Ever since the update in early March Flow stopped syncing with my Loop making it essentially useless. 4 updates later its still not working. Please fix the sync issue.

This app used to be great but now you cant even sync the watch to it. Weight is also not listed still. Please fix this!!! Its making me regret buying Polar!!

Before they changed the app, my polar loop connected just fine to my iPhone. Now thats its polar flow app on my phone, it will not connect. I thought this was a good item to have but now I cant even connect. What a waste.

The V800 is an awesome watch/tracker. When it did sync it worked with an iPhone to show incoming texts and phone calls. Now it wont sync.

finally works , this version is running IOS . nothing to thank for the very poor previous updates.

I purchased a Polar Loop 2 Crystal, as I have always used Polar products!! I was not able to ever have the benefit of the old app as this is my first new product in quite some time. So I guess I dont know what Im missing. :( But I have yet to sync my Loop to this app. Making the added features useless and the loop quite pricey!!!! I do download to my desktop computer once per week but it would be nice to use the text message and phone message features as well as the morning alarm. Feeling disappointed.
